Siyum Hashas Holocaust Tribute

On November 19, 1945 (14  Kislev  5706), the third Siyum HaShas took place. Held in the wake of the Holocaust, the event was dedicated to the memory of the millions of Jews who lost their lives. 

On 23 June 1975 (14 Tammuz 5735), at the seventh Siyum, five thousand people gathered at the Manhattan Center to celebrate. At this event, the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah made the Siyum HaShas a permanent tribute to the six million Jews who were murdered during the Holocaust.
