Rabbi Noach Muroff and the $98,000 Kiddush Hashem

Our Kiddush Hashem

In 2013, Rabbi Noach Muroff, a rebbi at a yeshiva high school in New Haven, CT, bought a desk on Craigslist. When he couldn't get it through the door, he disassembled it and discovered $98,000 in cash hidden inside. The previous owner had stored their inheritance in the drawer, but it had fallen behind the desk, and they had forgotten about the money. 

Rabbi Muroff immediately contacted the seller to inform them of his discovery, making the Kiddush Hashem of the decade. Watch this video from the Agudah Convention in 2013 where he said that everyone would have done the same, so this is really our Kiddush Hashem.
